Loading ...Portuguese based furniture design brand ZeroDois asked me to recreate and build from scratch some sofa models they had already and some new ones for future production.
The task involved photographing every existing model for reference and texture placement, correct measurements and scan or photograph fabric samples. In 3D, the client had a very specific look he wanted me to do – a black ciclorama photo shoot studio. Afterward, i modeled, textured, shaded, lighted and rendered about 12 different sofa models.
The final Hi-res renders were used in print and online display, and the photo real quality of the end result works like a real catalog, but with much more control over the 3d models, with ability to reuse and update them as necessary, even to improve any design.
